Full bodied with a lovely balanced astringency and jammy hints of malt and toast — a good stout Assam, organically grown. This whole leaf grade delivers the strength Assam is famous for with the refinement that comes from careful, unbroken leaf.

The "jammy" quality is what makes it special: a ripe, fruity sweetness under the malt that keeps the cup rich rather than merely strong. Organic cultivation, honest flavour, proper body.

Brew one heaping teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water for 3 to 5 minutes. Excellent with milk in the breakfast tradition, and smooth enough to drink plain.
