Nuwara Eliya is Sri Lanka's highest tea district, and its teas are the region's most delicate: pale golden in the cup, fragrant and crisp, often compared to fine Darjeeling. Lovers Leap — named for the waterfall beside the estate — is a classic of the style.
Brew one heaping teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water for 3 minutes. Best plain or with a thin slice of lemon; milk would hush its delicacy.
