A flavoury, bright and full bodied tea with superb malty highlights — a character some term "jammy." This second flush Assam from the Borengajuli estate is a good self-drinking tea, suitable any time of the day.
Second flush refers to the summer plucking, when Assam leaf reaches its peak richness. Borengajuli's version delivers everything the region is loved for: deep amber colour, ripe malty sweetness, and enough body to satisfy without overwhelming.
Brew one heaping teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water for 3 to 5 minutes. Lovely plain thanks to that jammy smoothness, and it takes milk in classic Assam style.
