A sweet rooibos dessert tea inspired by the classic French custard. Rooibos is blended with carob bits, sweet blackberry leaves, puffed rice, sunflower petals, amaranth, tonka bean extract and vanilla bits for a cup with genuine crème brûlée character — silky vanilla custard with a caramelized edge.
The tonka and vanilla do the heavy lifting, the carob adds a toasted sweetness, and the caffeine-free rooibos base keeps it all gentle enough for the end of the evening.
Brew one heaping teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water for 5 to 7 minutes. A splash of milk completes the custard effect — dessert, solved.
