Chai Rooibos

All the warmth of masala chai, none of the caffeine. Rooibos is blended with cinnamon, cardamom seed, citrus peels, ginger, pepper, star anise and cloves — the full traditional spice cabinet over South Africa's naturally sweet red bush.

Rooibos makes a brilliant chai base: its honeyed body carries the spices the way black tea does, but the cup stays gentle enough for evenings and for anyone avoiding caffeine. The spice is genuine — warming ginger and pepper with sweet cinnamon and cardamom on top.

Brew one heaping teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water for 5 to 7 minutes. Excellent plain, and outstanding as a caffeine-free chai latte with hot milk and honey.
