Toasted bread highlights with elemental, earthy notes. Our Special Pu erh has been aged three years, developing the deep, mellow character that makes this style China's most storied tea — prized, collected and traded like fine wine for centuries.

Pu erh is fermented and aged rather than simply dried, producing a dark, smooth cup with no bitterness: think forest floor, autumn leaves and warm toast, finishing clean and sweet. It is traditionally drunk after rich meals.

Give the leaves a quick 10-second rinse with boiling water, then brew 1 teaspoon per cup with fully boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes. Re-steeps generously — the flavour keeps evolving for several infusions.
