Spicy Black Chai

A blend of black teas with added spices for a quick and easy Masala chai — not to be confused with the Masala Chai mix used at the Granville Island Tea Company store. This is the brew-it-like-tea version: all the warmth of chai spice, no stovetop simmering required.

Cinnamon, ginger and warming spices thread through a solid black tea base, producing a cup that is cozy and aromatic on its own and turns into a proper chai latte the moment you add hot milk.

Brew one heaping teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water for 4 to 5 minutes. Add milk and honey or sugar to taste — or drink it plain as a lighter spiced black tea.
