A blend of Ceylon and Assam estate black teas with clover and lemon peel, embellished with natural strawberry and lemon flavour. Lady Londonderry is a light, graceful blend that evokes the elegant tea parties of aristocratic tradition — the tea equivalent of a garden party in June.
The strawberry is soft and sun-warmed rather than sugary, the lemon adds sparkle, and the Ceylon-Assam base gives just enough body to carry it. Said to be named for a celebrated society hostess, it remains one of the loveliest afternoon teas we know.
Brew one heaping teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water for 3 to 4 minutes. Best enjoyed plain or with a thin slice of lemon, ideally with something delicate to eat.
