Deep black currant aroma and flavour — just imagine a currant bush full of ripe berries. This is one of the boldest fruit black teas we carry: dark, jammy and intensely aromatic, with a smooth black tea base carrying the berry character through to a clean finish.
Black currant and black tea are a classic European pairing, and this blend shows why. The tartness of the currant lifts the maltiness of the leaf so the cup stays lively rather than heavy.
Brew one heaping teaspoon per cup with freshly boiled water for 3 to 5 minutes. Stunning as an iced tea — brew double strength, pour over ice, and add a touch of sugar to make the berry flavour sing.
